What our executive visibility experts do
Most firms hold real expertise that never leaves the building. It sits in client meetings, internal decks and the heads of the people who run the place, where nobody deciding whether to hire them can see it. Executive visibility work moves it into public view. Profile draws the expertise out in interview, then builds a programme to put it in front of the people who matter: articles and research in the press those audiences read, video and photography from in-house shoots, and a LinkedIn presence carrying the same arguments under the leader's own name.
How they work
Visibility is not the same as exposure, and the difference is what the work is for. Being seen by the wrong audience, or being seen saying nothing in particular, produces activity without standing. Profile works from the audience backwards: who has to change their view, what they already read, and what would have to be true for them to take the leader seriously on it. Profile also runs its own research unit, polling how audiences actually perceive senior businesspeople, so the target is what an audience thinks rather than what a firm assumes it thinks. What is measured follows from that: the titles coverage appears in, what a search for the name returns, and the quality of the audience following the leader, not the size of it.
When to bring them in
The usual point is when a leader's standing inside a business is well ahead of their standing outside it: buyers compare the firm on price, journalists quote competitors, and a search for the leader's name shows nothing they chose. Fundraising, a new role and a move into an unfamiliar market all sharpen it. Profile asks for at least six months, because a single article does not compound.

On the UK gilt market
“Our bond markets, already unsettled by the constant change in personnel on Downing Street, will simply not be convinced by Andy Burnham.”
